Are You Interested In Writing?

We are a fun group to share ideas with, participate in workshops, and hear interesting guest speakers. We run several writing competitions each year (judged externally by professional writers) including poetry, short stories, drama, and non-fiction, and we have an annual end-of-year prize giving party. All winners and runners-up are published in our yearly print anthology.

How We Can Help You

We offer a supportive, non-judgmental environment for writers to learn and grow. You will get feedback on your competition entries, and any other writing you may choose to bring along to the meetings. Members receive a monthly newsletter (email) keeping you up-to-date with club activities and other useful information. Members also have access to our club library, which features a comprehensive range of books about writing, and access to our in-house writing mentors.
